Helping You Grow in Power, Joy, and Effectiveness
Linda B. Fite: Coach, Catalyst, Consultant, and “Edu-tainer”
At Inside Out Power, I work as a professional life coach who helps people move past the blocks that may have sabotaged them for years and find the freedom of being authentic. I offer coaching individually and in groups using the formats of consulting, workshops, speaking engagements, and sparring partner sessions.
The clients who seek my help are typically executives who are going into retirement or a new career. There are also those who are in the midst of a major transition in their life, whether it is about family, career, relationships, aging, caregiving, or finances. Ultimately, they are looking for an objective and knowledgeable partner to help them move forward quickly and effectively.
My more than three decades of training corporate audiences to deal with change, uncertainty, and market demands give my services a unique breadth and depth. Those who know me characterize my competitive advantage as being a unique blend of knowledge, intelligence, and humor.
My Introductory Video
Welcome to my world! As a certified Success GPS career and life coach, I specialize in helping you manage transitions like a pro! I’m available any time you find that what you have in your life is not the same as what you want in your life. I can help you sort through which parts of what you are doing or not doing are working and which are not. Together, we can find alternatives that work better.
I find that people generally have one of the following situations:
Which category best describes you? If you identify with any of the last three bullet points, contact me today for a complimentary assessment. This free survey will indicate whether you could benefit from coaching at this point in your life and what the focus or strategy for that coaching should be.
When I receive your results, we will set up a 20-minute strategic planning phone consultation at no cost to you. At the end of that consultation, we will know what areas we must target for improved results and whether or not I am the coach you want to work with to do that.
I will be coaching you on certain basics that I know work. Sometimes, I will be helping you break through barriers that may have been holding you back for years. Sometimes, I will be reminding you to celebrate your authentic self and use those strengths joyfully and effectively. I will always insist that we both “Face Reality” and figure out how to “Do What Works.” That saves us from a lot of unnecessary drama.
Here’s the thing. I’m not going to spend much time and energy trying to find you and convince you how much you need me. I can be pushy and I might push the wrong people into a coaching relationship with me and that’s not good for either of us. So if you have enjoyed this introduction, we will probably get along. If you haven’t, we probably won’t.
There is no obligation except a commitment to being honest with each other and to making the best choices to help you move forward in your life with power and joy, which is what I call “Inside Out Power!”
Each of us is born with an innate power and uniqueness at our core, something that the world needs that we are ideally equipped to offer. Often, we are conditioned away from that powerful center for reasons of safety, security, or other pragmatic pressures of life.
My mission is to help people regain full confidence in their authentic self and work to their strengths in ways that create more abundance—of happiness, joy, health, good relationships, courage, self-discipline, peace, and finances—than they dreamed was possible and to bring that power from the inside out into the world and into action.
Additionally, I have dedicated my life to giving people tools that help them to stay in charge of the quality of their lives, no matter what the world throws at them in the way of change, uncertainty, and other distractions.
I have a BA degree in Psychology and Sociology from Texas Tech University. I chose these fields because they revolve around emotional and interpersonal intelligence. After graduating, the Danish consulting firm Connector recruited me in 1981 to apply my knowledge of people to business challenges aimed at developing leadership and customer focus as competitive advantages.
I returned to the US after five years then worked with various consulting firms as either an executive or an independent consultant, trainer, or speaker. During this time, I was able to design, deliver, and manage ActionSystem’s ServiceVision line of consulting products.
Working for PRITCHETT
In 1990, I joined PRITCHETT where I eventually became a senior performance consultant working under contract with the company’s Change Management group. Soon, I took over responsibility for the practice. I designed and developed many of the company’s workshops and have trained both clients and other performance consultants.
In this role, I was able to apply my 25 years of change management experience and 10 prior years of international leadership development consulting in ways that helped their people thrive in a world of increasingly rapid, complex, and disruptive change.
My Career Today
I currently work independently and through various consulting consortia. Organizations and authors such as Price Pritchett, Al Lucia, and Sherry Buffington have contacted me to co-design training programs and deliver keynotes based on their best-selling books. I also design, develop, and sell my own solutions, tools, and training products.
My expertise as an accomplished consultant includes:
Additionally, I present at numerous industry-specific national and international conferences, professional association meetings, and special events held by companies for their customers, high performers, managers, and executives. Some of these include:
